Duncan Dana Cup

Three sailors showed up to sail the 2022 Duncan Dana Cup.

Eleven races were sailed in puffy shifty westerly wind.

Race finishes were close in most races.

3. Marcel Nyffenegger 26 Pinter 2.5

Race #2

Three skippers showed up to sail in M Class Race #2.

Thirteen races were sailed in a puffy easterly wind.

Eddie Wolfe showed the way with 11 firsts.

Results:

M Class Region 1

Five sailors entered M Class Region 1.

Fifteen races were sailed and were scored with one throwout.

Conditions were mostly light easterly. Competition was tight with Stan Goodwin,

Rick Laird, and Jack Woods only a few points apart. Biff Martin missed the first three

races due to boat problems.

Results:

Four skippers showed up to sail in race 5.  The wind was light and alternated between
Southwest and Northwest.

Three sailors sailed in the Roy Clough Cup.  Eleven races were sailed in a mostly southwest wind.

Five sailors appeared to sail in M Race #7.  Because of low water the marks were adjusted.
This adjustment helped but did not eliminate running aground.  The wind was mostly southwest and shifty.
Twelve races were sailed and one throwout scored.
